 Dr. Garine began his academic journey when he was accepted in the dental program at Cairo University where he graduated with honors and later obtained his license to practice in Egypt. After graduation, Dr. Garine immigrated to Canada and attended a two year qualifying program at the University of Western Ontario, in London - Ontario, where he graduated first in his class and received the Dr. Gerald Z. Wright Award for excellence in the year 2000. His passion for the area of Prosthodontics then led him to the Eastman Dental Center at the University of Rochester, in Rochester, NY. It was there that he spent three years specializing in the area of Prosthodontics. Upon graduating from the Prosthodontics specialty Dr. Garine was offered a one year fellowship in Implant Dentistry. He spent the following year teaching at the University of Rochester and completed the Implant Fellowship, for which, he received the Dr. Gerald N. Graser Fellowship Award in 2004.
Dr. Garine's research in implant dentistry has received several awards. He was ranked first by the American Academy for Dental Research, second by the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, and third by the American College of Prosthodontics. His paper entitled "Measurement of Rotational Misfit of All-ceramic Abutment" has been published in the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants.
In the summer of 2004 Dr. Garine left the snow behind and moved to sunny Florida with his wife Jasmin. A few months later he fulfilled his lifelong goal of starting his own practice in Jupiter, Florida. In his spare time, he enjoys the gym, playing soccer, music and reading.
He currently resides in Palm Beach Gardens with his wife Jasmin, their daughter Sabrina, their Siamese cat Samba, and their German Sheppard dog Cyrus. They enjoy traveling around the United States and other countries during their time off.
