Jessie was born in Olney, Maryland and lived in Rockville. As the youngest of five children she only lived with her sister three years older than her. At six years old she became an aunt and now has three nephews and five nieces. At ten years old she and her family relocated to Punta Gorda, Florida on the west coast. She and her family frequently enjoyed boating trips on the Peace River. In 1996 Jessie and her parents moved to West Palm Beach to be closer to her siblings. Dr. Garine and Jessie have been working together since 2006. She has been a dental assistant for nine years. In that time she has gone to Nova University in Fort Lauderdale and acquired certifications for x-rays, expanded functions, and fabrication of temporary crowns and bridges. In 2005 Jessie attended the Academy of Health and Beauty and now is a National Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Florida. Currently she is enrolled at Indian River State College in a two year dental laboratory technician program. Upon graduation in May 2010 she plans to continue working with Dr. Garine, Pam and Alisa in their happy dental home.
When she’s not working or studying she can often be found by the beach. She has been certified in scuba diving and became a novice sky diver. Also she enjoys surfing, kayaking, camping and gardening. Jessie likes to listen to live music and travel to new places.
Alissa Daniell Emily Orberg, born of Jupiter, Florida, has been working for Dr. Garine since October 2007. She works here two days a week and fills in for other local hygienists all over the Jupiter, Tequesta, and Juno areas. Her two years spent in dental hygiene school were done at Palm Beach Community College in Lake Worth, with their state of the art dental clinic.
“So where does she spend her free time?” you wonder. Seventy hours a month are spent in a ministering work conducting free home bible studies. Anybody say volleyball? You can find her on the sand courts at various Jupiter locations. And don’t forget dancing! Latin, swing, and sure, maybe even a little country every now and then. While still single, she has her pet snake Kaa (from the Jungle Book?) to keep her company.
Her close-knit family includes her younger brother, Taylor and two fantastic parents, Mark and Lori, who are also local Jupiter residents.
Dr. Garine, thank you for your kindness, patience and understanding of Gunther’s predicament. It was extremely impressive of you to proceed with the course of action you took before the insurance company authorized what you knew was medically necessary. We feel that you are an exceptional person with the expertise to handle his case. You have also chosen two wonderful people to assist you in your practice. We look forward to having you begin work on Gunther’s mouth. Thank you once again.
