What is a Prosthodontist?
The American college of prosthodontists defines a prosthodontist as a professional dentist with advanced specialty training who is an expert in creating optimal oral health, both in function and appearance including dental implants, dentures, veneers, crowns, and teeth whitening.
Prosthodontists receive an additional three years of specialized post doctoral training in an American Dental Association (ADA) accredited post graduate program.
Prosthodontists are trained to manage the most complex dental restorations.
